Princess is from Tisa Cebu which is located about 10 minutes from the hospital. She is the youngest of 6 children. Dad is a welder and Mom stays home with the kids. Princess will be 3 years old in a few months. The family heard about the mission from TV Station ABS-CBN.
Mom’s hope is that Princess will be able to speak well. Princess had cleft lip and palate surgery. Mom is so thankful for Rotaplast and has no doubt in how the team wants to help people.
When Joy’s mom was asked why she waited so long to have Joy’s lip repaired, her answer was she was afraid to bring her to the hospital. With a successful surgery Joy will have a beautiful smile and will lead a normal life.
