After 36 hours of very hard travel, the team finally arrived, completely exhausted, in Sylhet Bangladesh. We were met at the airport by members of the Rotary Club of Jalalabad. This is the third mission that the Rotary Club of Jalalabad has hosted in as many years.

After checking into our hotel, the team had a brief period of rest before heading to the Sylhet Women’s Medical College and Hospital to familiarize ourselves with the facility and to prepare for the pre-clinic the following morning.

A team meeting and early dinner closed out the first day and we were all able to get a very much needed good night’s sleep.

boxes

Rotaplast boxes are collected after the team passed through Customs in Dhaka, Bangladesh. They were transported by truck to Sylhet while the team made their final leg of the trip by a propeller commuter flight.
