After a very long trip from her village of Mymanshingh, 26-year-old Shamola arrived for the lip surgery to give her a smile on the outside to match her feelings on the inside. Her husband and three children remained at home when she boarded the bus. As a child, Shamola was nicknamed “tooth cutter”. She never attended school. Yet, she freely shared her feelings after checking into the ward the day before her operation. Although she is scared, she is eager to return and show off her face to everyone in Mymanshingh. She will be proudly taking her new Rotaplast smile with her when she boards the bus for home.
