We started our day bright and early, eager to get a start on our first clinic day. After being introduced to the wonderful hospital staff, we met the lovely (and patiently waiting) people in the lobby. We were also taught some words in Burmese today, such as မဂႆလာပၝ (min-ga-la-ba), which means, hello (and can be used at all times of the day). We have also learn to say, thank you, ေက်းဇူးတန္ပါတယ္။ (cè-zù tin-ba-deh), because we are extremely thankful for being given the opportunity to meet so many amazing people, such as Dr. Khin Maung and the staff from General Hospital and for the warm welcome they gave us.
