Myat- မြတ်- joins us from the Mandalay division, Paul township. Her parents heard about our mission on the radio and drove 300 kilometers to get here. We met Myat and her family on the first day of clinic and she had her operation our second day here. Myat’s family told me that they are so extremely grateful to the doctors that performed Myat’s surgery and they didn’t expect this much of a beautiful change for their daughter. Myat’s mom says that she is very happy now and feels that she is more beautiful because her daughter is more beautiful.
