Today, Angel got his new smile. Angel laughed with an impish grin as he tossed the surgical glove blown up to a balloon while bravely awaiting surgery. Dr. David Morwood skillfully repaired Angel's cleft lip and palate in a single, five-hour operation.
Mom teared up when she first met him in the recovery room and asked the doctor for confirmation if it was really true that Angel's palate was completely closed, too. This life altering operation couldn't have happened to a sweeter little guy and his mom.
