Day 11 – Post Clinic Day: The Last Day
Today's the final day of our mission and the day that the doctors perform a follow up medical check up on the children that had surgery. 82 of the 108 patients were waiting for us when we arrived at 8am.

Throughout our 2 week journey, I have been asking our volunteers WHY they come on these missions. I got many interesting responses and comments, but I thought I'd complete the blog with our Medical Director's (Dr. Ron Gemberling) ' comment:
"Because of my good fortune, opportunities and success in life, I have long felt the emotional need to pay forward in the most tangible way that I know to improve the lives and potential for the innocent, unfortunate and neglected children in the world.
