On this final day, before the packing and departing, the results of the mission come through the door one last time for the post-op clinic.
From surgical sutures emerge satisfied smiles. What a privilege it has been to put “service above self” into action.
One mission is ending, yet future missions are beginning. Rotaplast continues to be a gift to the world.
The majority of patients were children. Take a moment to think of all the years these adults lived with cleft lips, now to be changed forever. No need to show before photos, they will be seen like this from now on.
I would like to take a moment to recognize and thank this group of wonderful people who took part in the mission to Sylhet, Bangladesh 2015. It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to have met and worked with you all. To those who worked behind the scenes to make the mission the success it was, a big thank you.
