When I share the Rotaplast story back home invariably I am asked if it is hard to find doctors and nurses for a mission. It is an amazing commitment of their skills and time yet on mission after mission they volunteer their time without hesitation.

Perhaps these photos will explain more adequately than my limited prose why we volunteer.

The Ward is where families wait before surgery, and rest afterwards. To help occupy the children we offer coloring and other activities.

On this mission we brought a donated Beanie Baby for each young child. They were a big hit as seen here.

These children are in their gowns, and ready for transport to surgery.

Not a bit nervous.

This little guy was curious about the man with the big camera.

Mom is right here.
