Day four of surgeries went well for our team.  As each day passes we grow a little closer to the medical students and nurses from the hospital here in Chittagong.  We completed about 10 successful surgeries, had some follow up evaluations of some of our patients as well as changing bandages and dressings on previous patients.  The children and parents here are simply amazing.  The bright smiles, the beautiful brown eyes, the joy in each child when they receive something as simple and special as a sticker, the thankfulness and love from the parents who would do anything to help their child, it is all so touching; even overwhelming at times.  It is heartwarming to see Rotaplast’s mission statement come to life, Saving smiles, Changing lives.
