After 16 hours of flights and a two-hour bus ride, the Rotaplast team made it safely to Adichunchanagiri Hospital and Research Centre in Nagamangala. We received a warm welcome from Rotary Bangalore North filled with joyous reunions! We are grateful to Rotary Bangalore North for coordinating transportation, meals, and surgical supplies for the Rotaplast team.

Later in the day, the Rotaplast team and Rotarians from Bangalore North participated in a special ceremony where the members of each group were recognized by His Holiness Paramapoojya jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji.
After the ceremony, the Rotaplast team toured the location for the surgical clinic and received their clinic briefing from head nurse Sharron Newton. Tomorrow begins pre-clinic and we can’t wait to get started!
