More expectations.

More patients for surgery.

Being part of 100 Smiles for the fourth time has been an incredible experience. As Rotaract President 2025-2026 and Global Scholars Coordinator 2025, I came into this mission with high expectations and a significant responsibility. This journey has helped me grow as person and as a leader. Working with the children, doctors, nurses, residents and other hospital staff and witnessing their joy is truly a privilege. I’m grateful to be part of something so meaningful and inspiring. I hope to continue being part of this amazing missions.

As a nursing student, this first mission has given me knowledge and experiences I could never have gained anywhere else. Working alongside such a dedicated team and caring for the children has been inspiring. I feel grateful and honored to be part of something that makes such a real difference.

Grateful to have accomplished a new mission in this beautiful city of Medellin, the children, adolescents, and adults that we care for and receive their surgery, improving their quality of life slightly or significantly, it was gratifying for me to have supported the post-surgical recovery, discharging each of the patients in excellent condition. I thank all the mission companions, the volunteers from the medical area, and individuals who supported us for this great achievement, to the General Hospital of Medellin, with its medical, assistance, and administrative staff who contribute to carrying out the surgeries and caring for our patients. To Juan, let’s continue with this spirit of improving the health of our children, adolescents, and adults in Colombia, and not to give up. A thousand thanks, and I am here to serve you.
