I’ve traveled on a number of Rotaplast missions and am always charmed by the beautifully made quilts given to each patient in recovery.
It is a privilege during this mission to work with Valarie, a member of the Sunshine Online Quilters Guild. The guild is a collection of people from all over the USA and Canada who create these fun and cheerful quilts sent to Wrap a Smile. Wrap a Smile collects and labels the quilts and forwards them to Rotaplast to be taken and donated to Rotaplast children around the world. Founded by a woman in Wells, Maine, Wrap a Smile supplied by the talent of the Sunshine Online Quilters Guild and other quilters has so far donated close to 19,000 quilts given to each Rotaplast patient.
