First Day of Surgeries
San Salvador, El Salvador
The team arrived at the hospital Thursdy morning at 7:15 am, after an early breakfast, ready for 12 surgeries. Meet Daisy Martinez (lip recision) & Jennifer Marroquin (fistula) who arrived for surgeries with Dr. Angelo Capozzi & Dr. Bill De Shazza. These two girls met at the pre-clinic & stole everyone's hearts! There are 98 of these children that have stolen all of our hearts. The team set up the pre-op/post-op wards, and then proceeded to get into the "flow" of the day. We are working within a military hospital so there is military assistance if needed.
