Jenesse is from Santa Fe Bantayan Island Cebu and took a 4-5 hour ride to get here. Dad is a fisherman and Mom stays home with her six children. Jenesse is the second to last child.
In 2015 Jenesse got her cleft lip repaired. This year she had her palate repaired.
When Mom was asked why she wanted to have the surgeries done for her daughter she said, “I don’t want my daughter to grow up and blame me. I want her to have a normal life and attend school next year.”
She heard about the mission from ‘Abounding in Love’. She had opportunities with other missions but chose Rotaplast. She is very thankful for the Rotaplast team and their kindness.
