On a crisp Sunday morning at San Francisco International Airport, our 2016 mission to Faridabad, India got underway. Rotaplast veterans reacquainted and welcomed first-time volunteers. We rolled in our 30 boxes of medical supplies and our baker’s dozen of medical and non-medical volunteers was ready to board.
We were met at our 2:00 am arrival in New Delhi by Dr. Gagan Sabharwal and Rotarian Gaurav Ahuja, our dedicated local hosts for the fourth time in Faridabad.
Following a few hours to rest and refresh, we’re off to Sarvodaya Hospital to prepare for tomorrow’s opening clinic. We are ready and anxious to meet the children and families and get to work.
