Mawlid and Halima have come from Somalia for the operation for Muad.
The baby’s name is Modd . Her parent’s were very concerned about their child having the operation. When they were able to see the successful operations performed on other children, they became comfortable with going ahead with it. When the procedure was over, they had to see their son. They saw the changes, and were really happy. His father said, “It is incredible!”
Steven Finkleman, Lead Pedatrician with mom, child and a Cure Hospital nurse.
They have to return home tomorrow, but the doctors and nurses have given them all the information they need so the trip can be made safely.
