This morning we paused at the bus to enjoy the sights and sounds of a Guatemala dawn.

PRE-OP

The patients stay the night before so they are ready for surgery the next day. Mystic Palencia of La Crescentz, CA is the Ward Coordinator that oversees the patients prior to surgery making sure they do not eat or drink anything. As they wait, the children are given small donated toys to play with and crayons for coloring to keep them busy.
