As posted earlier the boxes were all packed in San Francisco and taken to the airport. Emerites ships the boxes to India. Each team member is allowed 2 checked bags; however, they only check one personal piece of luggage. Rotaplast uses the second to get the material goods to the Mission location. In this case Faridabad, India. Here you can see that Pete our warehouse manager has packed all the boxes for the trip to Faridabad, India.
Here are the boxes in New Deli! Wahoo! They are here. But wait, after the count one is missing. It is still in Dubai.
Here’s Sangita counting the number of boxes at the New Deli airport. All but one box was accounted for.
Sangita & Gary (Quartermaster) are checking with the airline to find out where the box is currently located. They discovered that it was still in Dubai.
The boxes move from the airport to Amrita Hospital in time for our clinic day. Here are a few on a cart heading to the Storage Room.
Finally, the boxes are in the Storage Room and the all important contents are being distributed.
That final missing box did arrive! And if you are wondering about the quilts, yes, the quilts arrived in the boxes and are being given to patients. I’ll have picture of quilts in another post.
