The day started with a warm welcome from the director of the Sylhet Women’s Medical Hospital, who gave us a tour of both the pre- and post-operative care departments and the operating rooms.

Fresh start of the marathon day
From the very first day, the Rotaplast team has been working efficiently. Under the leadership of Medical Director Hootan Daneshmand, a rapid initial screening was conducted, allowing the most straightforward cases to immediately proceed to the actual screening. Simultaneously, a new registration system was implemented in which patients immediately received digital files, including ID photos and photos of their complications. This marks significant and efficient progress in our process.

The welcoming and introduction at the Sylhet Women’s Medical College Hospital
With hundreds of registrations, the initial pre-screening reduced the number to about 130, from which eventually 63 patients were selected for the upcoming surgery days. Among these patients are a considerable number of complex cases, highlighting the expertise and dedication of our team.

Screening is always a busy day and everyone is seriously focussed on getting the job done
It was a busy day filled with impressions and very interesting cases that will undoubtedly lead to the best outcomes. Each of these cases offers us a unique opportunity to bring life-changing improvements, one smile at a time.
