Sunday was our day off to take in more of Lima and its culture. Our tour, which stopped for no man by the way (I was almost left behind trying to taste home at Dunkin' Donuts), was a brisk but informative trek stretching from historical districts to la biblioteca and the catacombs (no photos allowed) to la playa at Lover's Park and finally after lunch to an Indian market. Amidst the spectacular sights and often cacophonous sounds that are the city of Lima, we had plenty of time to evaluate the trip so far.
