An important and dynamic place during the mission is ‘The Ward’. This is monitored and organized by Agnes. All patients arrive here the day before their planned operation and then spend the night to be ‘seen’ by the doctors in the morning (NPO).
The ‘transport’ of the patients (by Marie-José) to the Works Council is coordinated from the ward. And after the operation and waking up in the recovery room, the patient then goes back to the ward. Here is a patient waiting to possibly be discharged or to stay for a night after the doctors’ check-up.
