The Post Anesthesia Care Unit is where the patients are transferred from surgery until they wake up.
The PACU room has three beds for the patients to use as they wake up from surgery.
Lead PACU Nurse Dixon-Beckett watches over her patients.
After the patients wake up from surgery, they are transferred to the Ward. Patient Transporter Sandra McLaughlin is in charge of transferring the patients from the 5th floor where the Ward is to the 3rd Floor where the operating rooms are located.
